One of my classes got cancelled due to low enrollement. It was the online class too, so I had to hunt around for another one that fit within my work schedule. Okay, I didn’t have to seriously hunt because everyone who enrolled was given suggestions for classes to take instead and the Information and Human Rights class is perfect: it’s right before my other Wednesday class and it sounds interesting.
I haven’t received my refund check yet which is terribly unfortunate because I’m going to Las Vegas in a few days. Perhaps, it’s not that terrible now that I think about it. I still want it though.
Anyhoo, I’ll get into school mood next week, until then I’ll keep reading Americanah and creating mini vlogs. Before I leave you, check out this picture Jacqueline Woodson tweeted on a airport library in Amsterdam.
P.S. Here’s a link to an article where Junot Diaz talked about libraries and how it’s a “perfect place to let your rugrats…run around.” Lawd! Don’t encourage that Junot. 🙂
How funny! Yeah don’t let them rugrats run around!!!!
Wishing you the best with classes and your trip to Vegas! I want to visit this Amsterdam airport now.
