The Huntington Library has 354 boxes, 1 volume, 2 binders, and 18 broadsides of Octavia E. Butler’s papers and the finding aid is available for perusal. It’s fantastic that researchers will have access to her work (except for three restricted items), but the awful news is that there are partial manuscripts that Octavia never got a chance to finish…and the sequel to Fledgling is one of those.
