There are a few YA titles I want to read too, but I’d rather tackle this list first. You’ll notice that I’m missing non-fiction and that is on purpose. I don’t read a lot of non-fiction in general, but especially not during the summer. However, I would like to read Raquel Cepeda’s memoir and Mark Anothny Neal’s newest book on Black masculinity, but if I’m pressed for time, I’ll read them in the fall.
Do you have any recommendations for me?
I want to read Gary Jackson’s book too. Please let me know what you think. One poetry suggestion: When My Brother Was an Aztec by Natalie Diaz. Happy reading!
Thanks, I’ll look for her book.
I too have a lot of reading to do!
Physical Exercises for Inner Harmony by Vernon Howard; the Shack by W. Young, Creative Ideas by Earnest Holmes, to name a few!
So excited for you Ms. Alfred.
Sounds like you have a nice list. Do you ever read outside of the spirituality genre?
Great list. Alexie’s Blasphemy is SO GOOD.
Oh good. I’ve liked the other stuff I’ve read from him.
